Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector
This qualification meets the minimum standard for all those in or entering teaching in the lifelong learning sector. Completing this award will equip delegates with the knowledge and skills required to develop and deliver programmes, provide learning support and take responsibility in managing the learning process in post 16 education.
This qualification has been accredited onto the qualification Credit Framework (QCF), and is mapped to the Life long learning UK (LLUK). Themes covered include:

2. Learning styles and preferences
3. Training planning skills
4. Training styles and communication
5. Training assessment
Duration is 5 days, and delegates must submit three assignments, which involves delivering a micro-teach session and observing four others.
CIEH level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice (TSP)
This course is aimed at delegates who want to develop practical training skills.
Completing this award will equip delegates with basic knowledge and skills required to develop and deliver training programmes, provide learning support and take responsibility in managing the learning process. Themes covered include:
1. Roles and responsibilities
2. Learning styles and preferences
3. Training planning skills
4. Training styles and communication
5. Training assessment
Duration is 3 days, and delegates must submit one assignment, which involves delivering a micro-teach session and observing four others.
On achieving this qualification, delegates may progress onto a level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the life long learning sector (PTLLS).
